Check-in

Arrive at least 30 minutes before departure (45 min for FlexiPlus to use the lounge). Check-in is automatic via number plate recognition.

What to bring

Passport for all passengers. Vehicle registration (V5C). If renting, written permission from the hire company. Pet passport if travelling with animals.

Vehicle restrictions

Max height 1.85m for standard carriages (tall vehicles use different carriages). Caravans and trailers welcome. Motorcycles travel in a separate carriage. LPG vehicles must declare at check-in.

During the crossing

Stay in your car or walk between carriages. Toilets available in every carriage. No mobile signal in the tunnel. Journey takes 35 minutes.
